About Me
First and foremost I am Canadian and French is my first language. I am very proud of my heritage and it’s a big part of who I am.
I tend to describe myself as follows: Husband and father of 3, change agent, catalyst, composer, worship leader, independent recording artist (I play Yamaha keyboards – I think an endorsement should be in order!), God follower, hockey fan and social media evangelist.
I love to engage people in meaningful conversations and to help others think about the possibilities. There is nothing more rewarding to me than helping make a difference in someone’s life. For that reason, my current work (development officer for a health care foundation) aligns perfectly with that philosophy.
I am always thinking about the next opportunity. For me the possibilities are endless and my goal in life is to live an abundant life.
Music is a big part of my life. There is always a melody – at times a symphony – in my mind. It provides the soundtrack to my everyday life.
The best thing that has ever happened to me is Up With People. UWP gave me the chance to travel the world, experience new cultures and, most importantly, introduced me to Heather – my wife of 15 years. She brings joy to my life and together we are blessed with three amazing children.
The Other Thing You Should Know
As stated above, I believe in the power of conversations and for that reason, I launched a new project in May 2010 called The Conversation Hub with the simple idea that:
Through conversation … relationships are formed;
Through conversation … knowledge is shared; and,
Through conversation … life happens.
