I did catch part of the segment on CBS's Sunday Morning. "Failing Forward", to borrow a phrase from leadership guru John Maxwell is a sure way to guarantee success. Unfortunately, for some, the fear of failure is so strong that maintaining the status quo is the only way they feel they have a chance at survival.

Thanks for the comment Beth!

I watched CBS Sunday Morning this AM and Daniel Pink was on there talking about creativity and innovation in America. He talked about change and that the reason our country continues to forge ahead in amazing new creations and discoveries directly relates to being ok with failure. It was a great interview and segment. Thought of your blog post.

Great comment Steve. I do agree with you. 2010 will be the year where "posers" are exposed. Make it a great day!

Great article. It is easy to stick your head in the sand and hope the world or your business will change. It is hard to rise to the occasion, face your fears, and make the necessary changes. We will see many people rise as leaders this year as they reinvent themselves. We will also so see many people stick to the old ways and fail. Change is inevitable. Success or failure, we must always be looking at how to improve. I love your articles. They provide inspiration and motivation for me to improve.
