My #FollowFriday List For 05-07-2010

in a rowI’m taking a cue from @chrisbrogan and a post he wrote in early April (view it here) and supplementing my #FollowFriday list with some commentary as to why I think you should follow these people or organization.

If you are not familiar with #FollowFriday, I encourage you to read this post on Mashable.

Here is my list for today:

@stevegasser:  Steve is a good friend and social media evangelist, entrepreneur and all around great guy.  His passion – exploring possibilities!  Need to flesh out an idea; thinking about using social media to advance your cause or connect with your customers – consider having a conversation with him.

@MichaelHyatt: Michael is the CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishers and blogger extraordinaire. I am especially inspired by his post on leadership.  A must read!

@JoelECarlson: I discovered Joel when he did a Twitterview with someone I was following on Twitter.  I got hooked right away!  Joel is doing something unique on Twitter and it’s worth following.  Got Twitter now and search #jectv to get a sense of the great interviews he’s doing.

@mndottraffic: This is for those of you who live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.  I travel to the cities several days a week for my son’s hockey and for other adventure and have found the updates on traffic provided by MNDoT to be extremely useful.

@BringMN: I am a recovering news junkie!  When it comes to Minnesota news, no one does a better job at aggregating the best news from Minnesota and about Minnesotans in one, easy to digest, place than Rick Kupchella and his team at BringMeTheNews.com.

That’s my list for today.

Make it a great day!
