I‘ve been writing music for as long as I can remember.  One of the first songs I remember writing for was for a talent show in high school.  Since then, I’ve explored different styles and have found inspiration in the moments of life. My first CD includes all original music.

All but two songs are instrumental composition.  For lyrics, I rely of the gifts and talents of others. Here is a sample of what you’ll hear on my debut CD titled “Until Tomorrow Comes”.

Dispatches:  I wrote this song a few months before heading to the studio.  It came to me in a 15 minutes session at the piano.  When it was time to name it, I came across Anderson Cooper’s book titled “Dispatches from the Edge”.  Something about the word “dispatches” stuck with me.

Sunday Morning: This song was written in western Pennsylvania during my travels with Up With People.  I opted to stay home on a Sunday morning instead of joining my host-family for worship.  Looking out at the valley from my host-family house this song came to me…it was my worship time. Scott Helgerson – my co-producer – did amazing work on this arrangement!

The Space Between:  Another song that came together really quickly.  One day, perhaps the perfect lyric will come along.  I love the arrangement Scott came up with.

Cecilia’s Dance:  The title says it all…my daughter Cecilia loves to dance!  For as long as I can remember, when I sit at the piano to play, she quietly makes her way to the living room and dances to my music.  My hope is that once day, she’ll use this track for a recital performance. Only time will tell…
