Join The Conversation

I am pleased to let you know that my new project – The Conversation Hub – is now officially launched.

This new project has been in the works for the past 5 months, and last week, we posted our inaugural episode – a conversation on The Power of A Life Plan with Ian McDonald.

Our second episode, posted yesterday, features a conversation with Steve Gasser.

Background Story

For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed a great conversation.  At a young age, I developed an interest in history, politics, business, and countless other subjects.  In college – I’m an alumni of the University of Ottawa – I navigated towards political science.  By nature of that program, I had to quite a bit of reading.  My classes were great, but what was even better were the times when our professors would simply engage us in lengthy conversation on Rousseau, Kant, Hobbs and Aristotle.

That love for a good conversation has never left me … in fact, during my international travel with UP WITH PEOPLE, I stayed with more that 250 host families.  What a great way to discover yourself, explore the world and engage in great conversations.

In my professional life, I have been blessed with opportunities that have been conducive to having great conversations.  As a development officer, former chamber executive and one-time speechwriter, the “conversation” stands at the intersection of everything I do.

What I Believe

When it comes to conversations, I believe the following to be true:

Through conversation … relationships are formed;
Through conversation … knowledge is shared;
Through conversation … life happens.
