I have been a fan of David Foster for as long as I can remember and to this day, I am still amazed by the gifts he’s been given. The guy is a prolific composer, arranger and record producer. He has an ability to reinvent himself every day – musically speaking.
I own almost every song he’s ever produced, written and/or arranged and all of the album’s he’s released. He has a signature style – one that is instantly recognizable. There is a reason he is simply called – The Hitman.
Just recently, I discovered a new song he wrote called “I Will Be There With You”. If features Katharine McPhee on vocals and get this – it’s a song used in a promotional video for Japan Airlines – how cool is that.
Enjoy.
I don’t know David Foster very well yet, but as an American Idol fanatic who never misses a show, I follow Katharine McPhee. She’s great too. I still remember her stunning performance (and the first time I ever heard) KTunstall’s Black Horse and the Cherry Tree. One of those fantastic music memories that transports me back to sitting in awe on my couch with the kids. Still didn’t pick her to win, but that’s besides the point. I’ll check out David Foster, Marc.
